My vision for Central Manchester is that it will become a Centre of Excellence for the Creative and Knowledge-Based Industries through building on its existing dual endowments of a desirable living environment and an exceptional educational infrastructure.

The well educated populace will generate numerous entrepreneurial ventures that will provide good employment for all.

Through the use of technology and innovation to increase the efficiency of occupations in existing sectors such as farming, manufacturing, and agro-processing, the productivity and living standards of all citizens will be uplifted.

The world class telecommunications infrastructure and the extension of Highway 2000 to Williamsfield will enable ready access to Greater Kingston and the international airport. This will facilitate Mandeville's businesses, its Type A Hospital, its doctors and other professionals, offering their services competitively to Kingston, the wider Caribbean, and the world.

Because of this economic transformation and a heightened social consciousness fostered by the example of enlightened political leadership, crime will be the lowest in all Jamaica, and Central Manchester's citizens will enjoy their lives in an environment of safety and public order.
